AJFTD Database Development
August 26, 2015 - Work is underway to develop a comprehensive foundational database of current and newly emerging alternative fuels. This database will integrate existing jet fuel data into a common archive, providing guidance for future design and certification of novel jet fuels. Various government agencies and research groups across the country are contributing data to this effort including oversight from both FAA and NIST. The aim of the database is to provide a centralized resource for academic, government, and industry partners in fuel policy and research, helping advance the integration of these new alternative jet fuels.
